Maybe, however, you favor reading fiction over nonfiction and if this is the case, you might enjoy my next recommendation! It is a fun fictional account of how one young woman's determination for justice changed the lives of all around her. This is titled, "Whatever Happened To Lucy?"
Lucy's life started with distress. She wasn't wanted from the start; she was discarded by her parents and by her community. She was ignored and abused until she got old enough to make changes for herself. However, her choices as a young teenage runaway were not the best, and although she was both beautiful and talented she felt that her destiny was set for her until Miranda's determination to make things "right" found it's way to Lucy's life.
Lucy and Miranda may have shared the same coloring with lilac eyes and hair the color of the darkest skies, but it wasn't until they forged through the horrors of Lucy's life and the destruction of her choices that a friendship deeper than sisterhood was elicited. Out of this came life altering changes for Miranda's entire family and an unexpected love choice.
